About
Hi, I’m Prem! By day, I do data stuff, and by later in the day, I’m an educator passionate about helping students master math and economics. I’ve taught as an Adjunct Professor in Economics at my local community college, worked as a Financial Data Analyst, and supported students as a tutor for years. With a Masters in Applied Economics & Finance from UC Santa Cruz—where I graduated at the top of my class—I bring both academic expertise and real-world experience to my teaching.My approach emphasizes patience, curiosity, and a growth mindset. I break down complex ideas into digestible concepts, guiding students through questioning rather than just giving answers. I believe that learning is a skill—one that improves with practice—and that progress isn’t always linear, but it’s always possible.
